Epic USA National Parks and Bahamas Adventure
These 2 months exploring the West coast of USA and The Bahamas have been truly unforgettable.
We started our adventure in San Francisco and headed inland to experience the majestic beauty of the National Parks. I will never forget how small we felt in the shadow of El Cap as we gazed up 3000ft to its towering peaks. Standing on what was once the ocean bed, but now salt plains that stretches far into the horizon, 282 ft below sea level at death valley’s lowest point felt surreal. Hiking up Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon and monument valley allowed our eyes to feast on the landscape as snow covered the red earth like icing on a red velvet cake.
The Bahamas was another world. Diving with sharks, exploring caves, marine life, swim throughs, the lost blue hole in the middle of the sea, complete with a drift dive through the washing machine (Oceanic swirl that turns divers head over heels like laundry in a coin-op washer for hundreds of yards) was an experience like no other.
This was a trip made completed by the friendships and memories that we have forged. There is so much left in this world to experience and see and we can’t wait for out next adventure.
